Chris Hemsworth would return to play Thor on one condition

Chris Hemsworth is one of the most recognizable faces in the MCU, with his quintessentially Aussie good looks and his accent that leaves no doubt as to his nationality he is a perfect Thor. No one could have filled the big screen better as the God of Thunder, with wit and depth for three films without faltering. Not to mention the hilarious and painful performance at the same time put in place by Chris in the films belonging to the Avengers: Infinity Saga saga. But that's not all: the future for the now forty-year-old actor could still be under discussion and a return to the part of him is not entirely excluded. But the conditions for a return of him are quite strict, making fans very disappointed.

As, indeed, have been disappointed by the direction of Taika Waititi in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film, by many, was considered too silly and Hemsworth doesn't feel like denying it.

Chris Hemsworth talks about his future in the MCU, but it doesn't lay too well: here are his statements of him on Waititi's Thor

And so what are the conditions that would allow a return of Thor in the next feature films? Chris is very clear: “To see what they have to offer creatively if there is something new [for the character]. But I really want to do other things for a while.” But what do you think of the evolution of Thor within the MCU, with so many declinations of the character? “Thor 1 and 2 were their own thing, Thor 3 and 4 were very different… and then also Avengers, Lebowski Thor, Infinity War Thor, because of different directors and I think mainly my need to do something different. You know, I got bored with the character pretty fast every couple of years,” Chris told GQ.

What do you think of the harsh criticism of Thor: Love and Thunder? “There is a group of eight-year-olds criticizing my film [referring to the children]. They thought this one had too much humor, the action was great but the visual effects weren't that good. I shudder and laugh the same way. I think we had too much fun. It has become too silly. It's always hard to be in the middle of it and have a real perspective… I love the process, it's always a journey. But you just don't know how people are going to react,” he admitted.
